Tim
was born a long time ago on May 25th in rural
Tennessee. About a week later his family moved
to Phoenix, AZ, which is where he lived until
the sweet age of 7. From 7 to 12, Tim and his
family lived in Orange County, CA. Then it was
back to sunny hot AZ, where he has lived ever
since.
Tim
began his music career at an early age. His
mom has a cassette tape recording of him singing
"Raindrops Keep Fallin' on My Head" at 2 years
old, which is regarded as his first recording
session. His mother was also his church choir
director until high school. In high school,
Tim played freshman football and got a job as
a bus boy right after the season. The job paid
well and Tim never played organized sports or
sang in the choir again. School also decreased
in priority. Tim sometimes made it to classes
and was voted "Most Likely to Go to the River
on the Day of Exams".
 |
After
graduating high school, his music career was
put back on track. Tim's friends, John Colby,
Gary Sanchez, and Steve Delatorre, asked him
to join the band they had formed in their senior
year. John had heard Tim singing along with
the car radio, and thought he could be a rock
'n' roll singer. The foursome named the band
"Method U", and began writing songs and playing
them along with some covers in nightclubs and
at parties. Tim left the band after a few years
and joined another band that performed covers
under the moniker "Ritual" and performed originals
as "August Red". After releasing 2 original
CD's ("Twist Into the Sun" and "Wanderlust"),
touring the western U.S., and replacing a couple
of original members, he decided it was time
to end that chapter of his life.

Following
some soul searching and bartending, Tim reunited
with former band mates, John and Gary, and joined
"The Chadwicks". Since then, he has taken over
5 years of voice lessons from an opera teacher.
The lessons have dramatically increased his
range and control. He continually strives to
sing to best of his abilities in each performance.
Tim has enjoyed performing with the band, which
has included enduring trials and tribulations
as well as enjoying many successes.
Tim
is not only a singer, but also a song writer.
In High School, he listened to punk rock (i.e.
The Vandals, Social D, etc.) and new wave (i.e.
The Psychedelic Furs, Simple Minds, etc.), and
then in college (about 30 credits) he listened
to alternative rock. In more recent times,
Tim greatly enjoys listening to new rock as
well as his favorite bands, like Weezer, Foo
Fighters, and 311. This musical diversity has
influenced the type of music that Tim writes.
Personally,
Tim has also enjoyed great success. In 1998,
Tim married a lovely young lady named Michelle.
On December 29, 2000, Michelle gave birth to
a baby boy named Tennessee James (TJ). Tim has
also worked many jobs to supplement his income,
while pursuing his singing/song writing career.
He has been a waiter, bartender, new car salesman,
bungee jump master, and more recently a customer
service rep. for Fender Musical Instruments.
Through
out all his experiences, both musical and non-musical,
Tim continually strives to have as much fun
as possible. This experience is apparent through
his performances and can be felt by the audience,
whether it be by direct interaction or by just
feeling the energy that he exudes from the stage.
